Product Description
Group III base oils are subjected to the highest level of mineral oil refining of the base oil groups. Although they are not chemically engineered, they offer good performance in a wide range of attributes as well as good molecular uniformity and stability. They are commonly mixed with additives and marketed as synthetic or semi-synthetic products because of this. Their viscosity index is above 120 while the level of sulphur is below 0.03%.
Applications
CST 6 is a high-performance Group III base oil with good oxidation stability, low sulphur content, high viscosity index and excellent low temperature fluidity. This line of products is widely used as blending components in a variety of industrial and automotive lubricants, functional fluids and can also be used as a improver for low viscosity index base oils.
