INTRODUCTION
DANA WHITE OIL LLP 15 is a colourless, transparent, oily liquid free from fluorescence in day light. Practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol (96%), miscible with hydrocarbons. White oils are highly refined mineral oils that are extremely pure, stable, colourless, odourless, non-toxic and chemically inert. White mineral oils are a highly complex mixture of paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons and are available in a wide variety of viscosity & specific gravity ranges.
APPLICATIONS
White Mineral Oils are extensively used as bases for pharmaceuticals and personal care products. The inertness of the product offers properties such as good lubricity, smoothness and softness and resistance to moisture in the formulations. The products are also used in the Polymer processing and plastic industry such as polystyrene, polyolefin and thermoplastic elastomers. Other applications include textiles (non-staining), special hair product formulations, foams etc, incense sticks, plastic paper and cosmetic industries.
