INTRODUCTION
Marine Grease
Marine grease of the over-based calcium sulfonate type with inherently superior corrosion resistance, resistance to water washout, mechanical stability and extreme pressure lubrication. Due to these properties are intrinsic to the grease and not the result of fortification with additives. Additionally Marine Grease has excellent load-carrying capacity and resistance to oxidation. It contains no heavy metals e.g lead, arsenic or antimony or other environmentally harmful additives such phosphorus, chlorine or zinc.
APPLICATION
- It can be used to lubricate open toothing, bearings, threaded spindles, hinges, guides on windlasses, ship’s cranes, and underwater devices
- It can protect moving parts from corrosion caused by seawater or constant water exposure
- It can be used in automotive and industrial applications that require rust and corrosion protection, such as rolling element bearings, gears, and couplings.
